Statistically, poor and downtrodden children are two folds more vulnerable to being sexually molested by an adult,  than children in a privileged environment, and its  usually someone known to them.  The G8 needs to work assiduously in eradicating this scourge.   Take Louise, the central character in my Book, one can conclude that the majority of the  ‘ugly’ things that  happened to her during her formative years were responsible for the choices she made in life.

Louise, the main character of my novel was the product of an African woman and a British white Man. She was classified as a Malatto as a result of this fusion of color. As a result she  was also classified  as being ‘different’.  In Barbados  during the fifties, with the majority of the population being  of African descent, her skin tone was a huge issue!
